The Dog Spot is dedicated to fostering, improving and enjoying the unique relationship between owner and dog. We are located on 80 pastoral acres just south of Waxahachie, TX., 35 minutes south of downtown Dallas and easily accessible from Interstate 35E. Our kennel facility is climate controlled for your pets comfort and consists of 8 indoor / outdoor runs, 4 indoor / outdoor luxury suites, play yard, training field and a kitchen area. We offer eight standard Five feet by Fifteen feet climate controlled indoor outdoor / kennels and 4 "luxury" suites. We offer private lessons, group classes seasonally and in-kennel board and train programs. All of our instruction relies on positive reinforcement and motivation; we are "Dog Friendly" as defined by the APDT. While we don`t require clickers for our classes we will use clicker techniques in teaching.
