Grading contractors can perform a variety of grading services. Many grading contractors do site excavation grading, building excavation grading, and contractual remedial work. A grading contractor may also be hired to do land reclamation grading, drainage grading, grading for sodding and seeding. When hiring a grading contractor as a source of aggregate materials, customers may be able to pick up the graded material or else have the grading contractor deliver it to their construction site. Some grading contractors specialize in paving, or general grading, grading for concrete, or grinding. A grading contractor is generally hired when heavy construction is required for a project.
