A person may want to contact or research their local emergency service veterinarians when the first get their pet, so they can decide which one to take them to in case of an emergency. Some emergency service veterinarians have more services and facilities available than others, which may be helpful during specific emergencies or medical problems. Radiology services and surgical facilities are not available at every emergency service veterinarian, neither or tools and services for some dental problems or ultrasound techniques as well.
