A concert is a live performance before an audience, usually of music. The music performed at a concert may be performed by a single musician, or by a group of musicians such as an orchestra, a choir, or a band. More informal names for a concert include "show" and "gig". Concerts can be held in a wide variety of settings or venues, including pubs, nightclubs, houses, barns, dedicated concert halls, large multipurpose buildings, and even sports stadiums. Most concerts require tickets for entry. Concert Bureaus are often the entities that sell the concert tickets to the public. Concert bureaus can be storefront locations, or online concert bureaus. Or, concert bureaus may sell tickets both online and at their storefront location.
