Alzheimer's is a memory impairment experienced by a large proportion of the geriatric population - five percent of those aged 65 to 74 will develop Alzheimer's disease, while the incidence increases to nearly 50% for those over 85 years old. As America's population ages, Alzheimer's treatment, care and services will become even more essential to the country that they currently are.
